Personalized Coaching from David
I offer one-on-one coaching sessions to help you improve your craft and overcome writing challenges. Here’s what I offer:
- Experience: Over 15 years of supporting writers, as a coach and university instructor, combined with more than a decade of publishing as an independent author.
- Approach: Offering personalized strategies and techniques to enhance your writing, as well as support and encouragement to overcome your writing challenges.
- Genres: Short fiction, novels, and screenplays, but also assisted on grant applications, synopsis, cover letters, essays, and other writing.
- Focus: Plot structure, storytelling, and working through writer’s block, but have given customized feedback and guidance on a variety of projects.
Here’s what you can expect from a session:
- Format: Remote sessions for convenience, using either FaceTime, Google Meet, or Zoom.
- Flexible Schedule: Choose a session time that works for you, with me completing all the preparatory work completed beforehand.
- Booking Options:
- 10-minute consultation (free) with me to discuss your writing project and see if I can help you on your creative journey.
- 30-minute session (CA$50) covers 8-10 pages of traditional fiction or non-fiction writing or 20-30 pages of a screenplay, tailored to your project's needs.
